countdown to Christmas!!!

Hi! Guess what, GUESS what, GUESS WHAAAT!!!!! only 4 more days till Christmas, and I am so excited! I mean, really really excited. You may be thinking that my title is normal, but oh ho my friend, I have a tale to tell. (If you'll pardon the expression...)
So, the mom of my family, the human one that is years ago made this really awesome countdown calender, what happens is when a child draws a bead out of the little pockets with numbers on them the mom hot glues the bead onto the calender, which i think is a genius idea!!! But why dont cats get to do it also? This is where my story begins...
So Tom and Spirit were griping one morning complaining that they couldnt do the countdown also, i wasnt really botherered, well i was but not for the same reason, i was bothered because there was so many presents under the tree that I couldnt fit under it anymore, In fact i was livid, but that is another story. Anyway, I started getting on the bandwagon of 'Yeah! We should be able to do the countdown, right? RIGHT!!!' But Tom ans Spirit apparently didnt really want to take any action, i thought they did. So i figured hey! Why not make my own countdown calender, for us cats? But my thinking was flawed. I decided to grab some paint, i could paint it on the gargae floor! Perfect idea, well, up until i dropped the paint cans but not before i knocked over the entire paint box, it was so much paint it spilled all over the floor! Well, the floor and Spirit (Good thing her fur is so dark, too bad the youngest in my family noticed :)) Anywho, i knocked over the paint but hey, at least i got it down! II mean, that is pretty impressive for me (No thumbs, get it?). Anyway, I took some of the paint and spilt, i mean poured it into seperate countainers. I figured we could each take our paw, dip it in the paint and make a paw print every day for a countdown! (Although I cant count, dont ask how i know only four days till Christmas...) I was so excited! And I knew Tom and Spirit would be excited to! They weren't in fact they were disgusted. Tom said "You want me, ME to dip my paw in that purple gook? Unbeliveable, I won't, and I WON'T!" So that was his opinion, Spirit came in the garage stared at the mess in complete horror, meowed a meow of fear, and ran out of the garage and i think she went through the cieling into the attic. So, that was her opinion... Anyway, I soon figured out that countdowns by myself isn't very fun, dissapointing his majesties (Tom) isn't very fun, cleaning up the mess isn't very fun, being left without a tree to sit under (No room in the tree, get it? Ha Ha, well, I did.) and that having my sister fall on top of you from the attic isn't much fun either. But anyway, have a merry Christmas, and a happy new year!!!

Soul the awesomness cat.
