Happy New Year!!!

hi everyone!  i hope everybody had a plesant Christmas.  i know we sure did!  ther was lots of festivities and general joy going around our house on the 25th of this month.
Well, now we get down to it.  the New Year is coming and I'm not sure if i'm happy, confused, or terrified.  i mkean, 2015 flew by so quickly, but at the same time it seems like it's never been another year.  do you know what i mean?  so much happened this year in history, and many othe things came out as well.  i mean, there was Mobile Orchestra, That Was Then This Is Now, Age of Ultron, and many other things that made their first appearences this year.  but then there were other things that happened that werent quite as pleasant.  the main point is, i'd personally like to start this New Year off with an attitude of hope.  just think , we can now start the year all over again and try the things we didnt try in 2015!  Happy New Year, everyone!  I hope that this year brings you lots of joy, oppurtunities, and happiness.  I love you all!

anyway, i just wanted to send out a general reminder to everyone what Christmas is really about.n i wholeheartedly agree that giving and getting presents, setting up Christmas trees, and other festivities are fun and important, but I want to remind you all that this season wouldn't proprely exist without Jesus Christ.  He was sent to earth to save us, and He came in the form of a chlid.  when we celebrate Christmas, we celebrate His birthday.  Merry Christmas, everyone!

anyway, i jus treally wanted to say "happy merry Christmas, everyone!"  until next time!

SIX DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Hellloooooo, random people that read this for some reason.  so, i'm getting really excited for Christmas.  anyone else?  right now we're watching shows and stuff like that.  I'm really excited because there's loads of presents under the tree and even some in our stockings!  but, you know, it isn't just about the presents *insert Luke 2 here*.  we had a baking disaster today.  Pepper wanted to make sugar cookies which in theory would have been fine if it wasn't for the fact that Jon decided to take the time that she was mixing to chase Spirit around the house. So basically, Spirit didnt hear the mixerand she jumped onto the counter and into the bowl and I have no clue why everyone in this family is so clumsy, but she got her tail (somehow) stuck in the mixer.  instead of going and making cookies, we ended up having to go to the vet...to fix poor Spirit's tail, and basically it wasnt very pretty.  Now she has a tail cast (i didnt even know that was a thing!) and shes a bit bothered, let it be known.  also, on further note, today we watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas and i havent seen that in forever.  i feel really bad for poor Max, ya know?  like we all focus on how the Grinch became his lovely, festive self but no one talks about how Max literally stuck around with the Grinch for no reason.  he just stuck with him and never left and helped him out (i'm not sure if willingly or not, but still).  i dont know, i just feel like some characters are overlooked.  anyway, looks like this is all the time i have for today.  Until next time!

Christmas ramblings

WOW!  200 posts, i feel like we've really come far, ya know?  like, i feel like i started this blog yesterday, but no...not at all.

anyway, how's everyone doing?  today a horrible occurence happened.  so, Pepper bought this iPod dock a while back and the cord for it broke.  not too big of a deal, right?  like, you could probably just buy a new cord.  well, Jon thought it would be a grand idea to try out different cords to see if he could get it to work.  he tried loads of cords, and none of them worked. anyway, what eneded up happening was an epic fail. so, basically the entire thing went kaput.  Pepper's $60 iPod dock completley burnt out and now she's iPod-less and honestly it's really stressful for her, ya know?

Anyway, GUESS WHO HEARD LIGHT OF CHRISTMAS (by Owl City) ON THE RADIO TODAY!  thats right, they played that gift to the world on the radion and thats how i know Christmas has truly started!  also, we saw a light display and it was really good.  i love seeing all the displays and the pretty lights and the ridiculous hats that only make sense one month out of the year.  it's just a really good time!  also, can we all just appreciate the whole feeling of Christmas?  like everything is just happier and the atmosphere is more relaxed, and it's just great.

Has anyone got Yoshi's Wooly World?  i know i dont generally talk about video games, but serously guys, this game is so fun!  you should all get it.  its just cute the little sounds that Yoshi's make and then theres the adorable and catchy soundtrack, not to mention, hello, im a cat, i love yarn!  We also got a couple other video games and blah blah but why doesnt anyone talk about Mario Party 3?  Honestly, i hate mario parties, but the third one is just so good!  i really like eatsapizza, and yes, im actually old enough to know these games.

That's it.  Until next time!

wow this post is boring

hey guys!

wow, i havent written in like...forever.  yeah, sorry about that.  How was everyone's thanksgiving?  Ours went by pretty swimmingly...swimmingly...that word always makes me think of Finding Nemo.  Am i the only one?

Anyway, CHRISTMAS SEASON HAS STARTED!   well, actually it started October first, but still.  to celebrate Christmas, we've been listening to lots of Christmas music.  this year, my favorite CD is Let It Snow...Baby, Let It Reindeer by Relient K.  it's pretty good and kind of funny to listen to until you get to I Hate Christmas Parties...boy, that song is sad.  right now Mistress is ironing and wacthing A Town Called Mercy (it's a Doctor Who episode).  personally, i think we should be watching Christmas specials, but thats just me.  Pepper's already started putting those blasted Christmas hats and coats on me.  i mean honestly, it's so annoying.  if im meowing mournfully, chances are, i really dont want to wear anything but my own fur.  but hey, thats how you know it's Christmas, i guess.  also weve started watching Christmas movies, and as predictable as they are, they're all so endearing. excpet for the ones with creepy animation...i dont get kids movies sometimes.  like how do people even watch some clay mations and animes and just...Im shuddering it's too creepy.  but you know, maybe im the only one who feels this way.  whoops...Jon wants the computer. Until next time!

I'm Wondering...

do you ever wonder when some things started?  Like, i wish i didnt have to rhyme every time i sang.  Who decided we had to?  If you look back at old poetry, people werent rhyming a large chunk of the time.  also, who decided the order of the alphabet?  why does it have to be in a certain order?  it realy doesn't matter.  I mean...suddenly I'm questioning the whole universe.  WHO EVEN DECIDED GOLD WAS VALUABLE?!  (disclaimer:  if any of these questions actually have answers, please remind yourself that im a cat and, by definitoin, gullible and kind of unintelligent...but not too unintelligent, mind you!)  and also, who decided some people needed to look a certain way?  who decided anyone needed to look a certain way to be accepted?  who decided BEAUTY WAS EVEN OUTWARD?!  i need to slap that person...anyway, this is getting really deep.  way too deep for this blog, you know?

I'm really hoping I'm not the only one who thinks about this...like, who decided pink was a girls colour?  who decided fashion statements were even a thing?  who decided how much everyone should weigh a certain amount?  who decides these things?  did we all just unanimously agree at some random point?  who decided people who toss a ball around should be payed more than people who defend our country?  who decided actors should be looked up to and kind of idolized even though they're just normal humans?  who decides?!

The main point is, i couldnt sleep last night and this was what i was pondering...yeah, cats can be deep, too.   until next time!

hellllloooooo, everyone!  so...CHRISTMAS SEASON HAS STARTED!!!! YESSS!  Well, it actually started on the first...but...I thnk i had a point, but i just got distracted.  anyway, there are Christmas decorations in the mall and Pepper has actually already bought a Christmas gift so, there's the first one of the season!  YAY!!!  is anyone else excited?  Please tell me someone else is as excited as I am.  yeah, it's just starting to feel super duper festive! i mean, Christmas hasnt hit full throttle quite yet, that happens next month, but still...it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

anywho...has anything interesting happened to me this week...hmmm...I can't really think of anything.  i got on  this blog to write something extraordinary...but my mind is blank.  Sorry, guys.  Hmmm...if i think of something spectacularly (I SPELLED THAT RIGHT AND HOW?!) awesom, i'll let you know. BOOM! Owl City!

hey guys!  first of all, im sorry i havent been writing lately.  This month had a lot of stuff going on-some that wasnt too pleasant, so i didnt really feel like writing.  anyway, a couple days ago, Pepper got to go to an Owl City concert!!!! WHOAAAAA!  and i wasnt allowed to go.  ugh.  i sat in the car the whole time wishing I could see Adam in real life, but nooooo "No pets allowed".  But, im thinking you guy want to hear how the concert went.  or maybe you dont.  well, youre gonna because it's my blog.  so, i asked Pepper to tell us about it.  Here she is!

Hi!  Well, I've got to say, the concert was extraordinary!  I got a really close up view of the center of the stage, so I could see and hear clearly.  Breanne Duren (the amazing back-up singer and electric pianist) was really fun to watch.  She was dancing from the start of the show and she was smiling so much!  I think that we didn't even need lighting because Breanne handled that herself!  Anyway, she got to sing Thunderstruck with Adam, and that made me really happy because I wasn't a huge fan of the original version because Sarah Russell kind of made the song seem...icky.  However, when Breanne sang it, it was beautiful!  She obviously did the back up "da da da"s (some of you recognized that I referenced Plant Life immediately) really well and she was just awesome!  She walked right in front of me on her way back to the bus, so that was cool!  She's super nice.  Anyway...now let's talk about the other band members.

I didn't get to see the drummer from where I was standing, but the two guitarists were awesome!  I don't know their names, but they were really entertaining.  This one guy was using a violin bow on his guitar, and he had some solos which were really well done and cool!  It was also awesome to see their smiling faces, and at one point, the two guitar players started laughing about something on stage, and it was just really fantastic to see them enjoying themselves!

Well...here's the part which was best of all...I GOT TO SEE ADAM RANDALL YOUNG LIVE!!!  IT WAS AMAZING!  So, his first song when he got on stage was Bird With a Broken Wing, which is one of my favorites!  He also did My Everything, and everyone started worshiping and  the whole thing just felt powerful.  When he sang Kamikaze (which is another one of my favorites), the audience did all the yelling parts (me included, obviously) and it was so loud and so worth it!  He took a while to warm up, but once he did it was awesome!  Everything about this concert was awesome!  My favorite song that he performed may have been Deer In the Headlights, because he was smiling so much during that song!  It was so cool.  His singing was perfect, I'm not kidding when I say "he didn't miss a single note".  He was smiling and dancing and he had solo's and he played a lot of my favorite songs and he played a song from Maybe I'm Dreaming, so BOOM, nostalgia.  It was a great experience!  I would love to go on and on about this, but my mum says I have to go now.  From Soul and I, UNTIL NEXT TIME!

so sorry

Okay, im really sorry i havent written in forever! but, ive been pondering something great...er...well, as great as a cat can think.  anyway...ive completly forgotten what it was. nevermind.  anyway, today Pepper tried her earphones on me.  DO NOT DO THAT TO CATS!  UGH!!! like, someones voice directly next to you!  i don thtink my human audience realizes how annoying it is!

anyway, this month has been super busy, Christmas stuff is coming out, and fall has begun!  Okay, lets be serious, Christmas stuff came out in July.  Whatever.  but yeah, who else is excited foir the holiday season?  webought a new tree last year, and im really excited to sit beneath it.  Hallmark has like, three different Star Trek ornaments, and thats the most exciting thing on the planet.  I think I'll get the Spock and Kirk one.  okay, that last sentence was Pepper, but i wanted that one!  i guess we'll decided who gets it soon.  wow...that whole parapgraph was boring.  oi, dont judge me!  im just a cat.

hey, slo i tried this hazelnut frosting which probably wasnt good for cats at all, but it tasted lovely!  like, i thought it would be gross...straight up chocolate is great and stuff, but HAZELNUT!!!

i guess what im tryin' to say is...well...nothing interesting has really happened.  nothing to write home about, ya know?  thats why i havent been posting anything lately.

OH!  I KNOW WHAT I WAS PONDERING!!! WHY ARE ROUND PIZZAS PUT IN SQUARE BOXES?!?!

AND AND SEASON EIGHT OF DOCTOR WHO WAS AMAZING!!!  AND CLARA IS TERRIBLE AND MEAN TO HIM AND NEEDS HER PRIORITIES FIXED BECAUSE WOW!!!  AND TWELVE IS AWESOME!!!

Honestly, I'm Just Rambling Here

heyyyyy everyone!  just a sec, im gonna ask Pepper if she'll edit this for me...

Okay, she said she would!  Yay!  Now I can look smart...er.

Anyway, how's everyone doing?  I hope you're all having pleasant Summers.  Or at least it's Summer where I am.  Doesn't that mean it's Winter on the other side of the world or something like that?  I dunno.

Anyhow...Josh Wilson released a new album!!!  Yes, yes, I'm late.  Forgive me, okay?  Okay.  Anyway, yeah, he released a new album called That Was Then, This Is Now, and it's really good and you all should go listen to it.  My favorite song off the album is House Divided, Pepper's favorite song is The Songs I Need To Hear, and Jon's favorite song is...oh, bother.  I forgot what it is!  No, wait...it's coming back to me...ah, yes.  His favorite is Blown Away.  I've gotta say, Josh really nailed it this time.  Like he always does.

Right now I'm listening to Port Blue.  Am I the only one who thinks some of it sounds sad?  Like, I totally like it, but it just sounds...sad.  Maybe I'm digging too deep.  By the way, you know that French part in Over Atlantic City?  Well, the translation is as follows: "It's funny...back when I was employed by the patent office, I wondered what our universe would look like if I moved at the speed of light aboard a motorcycle".  Do you feel educated now?  I know I do.

September is coming up fast, and you know what that means!  Back to school.  Whee.  Honestly, it doesn't affect me much considering I'm a cat.  It does, however, mean that Pepper can't play with me as much and I can't have Jon's undivided attention as much as I would normally.  What a shame, what a shame.  How do any of you humans enjoy school?  Like, you can't play with your cats nearly as often!

Anyway, apparently Pepper wants to computer back (it's weird because she still has to edit this).  Until next time!

Random Post Is Random

Kinghty night, I don't know what to write...

So, how is everyone?  As you can tell, I got Pepper to proof-read this again (it looks so much nicer).  Yesterday we rewatched The Fellowship of the Ring, but more importantly, recently we rewatched all of the Back to the Future movies.  Wow.  Paradox, much?  Needless to say, Marty and the Doctor disagree on time travel!  That isn't to say that I didn't like them, though!  There was quite a bit of swearing, and that bothered me, but other than that, it was a pretty good movie.  I liked most of the characters, but boy, you could get away with a lot in the 80's!  I mean, my goodness!  But yes, it was pretty good compared to most of the other 80's movies I've seen.  I'm not sure if these were made in the 80's (I think they were), but the original Star Wars films...what even were those?  Don't fill my bed with bees or anything, but those movies were terrible.  The acting was poor, the plot was poor, the special effects were poor, and I wanted Darth Vader to end it.  Spell check thinks that "Darth Vader" is a word, but "Frodo" isn't.  I've officially lost hope in this planet.  Or at least this planets' spell check methods.  Anyway, it looks like Pepper wants to scroll Pinterest, so I'd better give her the computer.  Until next time!

The Truth About The Little Mermaid

okay, so you know how like, you absorb media without really thinking about it sometimes?  Yes?  well, I was thinking about Disney Princesses, and wow are those people messed up!  let's take Ariel (because she bothers me the most).  please realize, i'm not trying to step on anyone's childhood, but Ariel was an ungrateful punk.  why?  because she was never satisfied.  i mean, she had plenty of sisters, animal friends, a bunch of human knick knacks from ships that sunk (eerie, much?), an entire ocean to swim in, a kingdom that she help to rule, fish and animals that can talk, a bunch of people around her that can sing well, and she didnt need anything at all.  she was provided with everything she required in order to live, but still, that wasnt enough.  wow.  selfish much?  I mean, she had all these great things and a dad who cared about her!  she dumps her whole family in order to be part of a different world because she was too ungrateful to live with what she had.  she thought the grass (or sand or whatever) was greener on the other side for some reason.  why was she not satisfied with all the people who loved her and all the freedom she was allowed and all the things that provided her with a comfortable and fun way of living?  she stressed out her dad and animal friends and literally dumped Flounder just so that she could live in our world.  what a plot twist!  she lives on the same planet as us!  *WHOA*  do you feel me?  she was just being an annoying and rebellouis teen who thought of no one but herself!  i think Ursula was trying to save her by taking away her voice.  maybe she was trying to deter Ariel from potentially ruining her life.  but no, she'd rather sacrifice her family, kingdom, and friends just so she can meet some random dude and hopefully get him to love her.  maybe.  if she's lucky.   obviously, since this is a Disney film, she turned out fine (well, she sort of cut off a lot of access to her friends), but realisitcally, I mean, really?  Dear Ariel, can you not?  anyway, i hope that this got everyone to think a bit more.  I also hope i didnt like, ruin someone's favorite movie.  now, i have to go!  until next time!

Funny Stories

haiiiii, evreyone! wow, my spelling is terible today.  anyway, what have you all been up to?  I know i've been freaking out about Mobile Orchestra, wishing Captain America: Civil War would come out already, screaming about Josh Wilson's new singles, and basically exploding with Pepper about all the fangirly things that have been happening.

Anywya, funny story time, okay?  Okay.   (WORST.  REFERENCE.  EVER.  I'M.  SO.  SORRY.) anywya, today we were making pancakes and somehow Spirit made the blender literally fly at Jon, and that was super duper weird. you see, Master was blending and Spirit decided that jumping on the counter would be a fabulous idea, but she tripped over the blender cord.  so, when she did that, the blender was pulled out of Master's hand and is fell off the counter and directly onto Jon's head.  needless to say, he wasnt even close to happy!  he had a bunch of pancake batter in his hair and that wsa totally awful!  he had to retake a shower and his hair is curly like Sherlock's (not kidding.  it's exactly like (BBC) Sherlock's) so Pepper had quite the time trying to comb all the gunk out.  needless to say, it wasn't very fun.  of course, Pepper was laughing her head off at (sorta with) him, but cleaning it all really wasnt fun.

ANYWAY, DARN IT CAPS LOCK!  I JUST THOUGHT I'D GIVE YE OLDE BLOG AN UPDATE, SO YEAH.  UNTIL NEXT TIME!

aloha, my happy West Coast friends (or not West Coast...wherever you live...okay, I was just trying to reference Owl City).  how is everyone?  pretty good, i hope.  Wow...I really need to fix my grammar.  oh, would you look at that, that sentence had perfect grammar.  awsome.  thats clearly never happening again.

anyway, funny experience happened, we were in a car wreck.  now, no one was hurt in any way, but both of the cars are totaled.  "Why is this funny?" you may ask.  well, its not, but then, maybe it was just terribly interesting.  you see, i was sitting on Pepper's lap while we were pulling out of a parking lot.  midway across the street, i saw this care coming towards us and i thought "Aw, thats not gonna hit us!" and then looked back down.  however, i glanced back up to literally see the car hit us!  wow!  yeah, call me weird, but that was really cool to see.  i mean, you see that in movies like The Winter Soldier and stuff, but you dont see it from inside the car!  so yeah, it was pretty interesting, no one was hurt (thank God), and we get a new car!  yay!  look on the bright side, ya know?  anyway, i better go.  Mark and Pepper want me to come play with them.

Just...Stuff

hello, peoples!  how are you all?  i havent posted in a while, and i had nothing to do today, so i decided to post something!  (yay!)  anyway, i recently found out that a lot of countries say things differently.  for example:

England - Pavement
United States - Sidewalk

England - Chips
United States - French Fries

England - Crisps
United States - Chips

What logic and madness is this?!?!  it's so weird...like, why is everything not known universally?  because, you could be in England but be an American and think that you're ordering potato chips, but you get fries instead.  how confusing would that be?  but then it leaves me to wonder, which one came first?  i mean, who called what what first, you know?  and these are the things that keep me up at night...

ANYWHO, i thought i'd give you peeps a couple book suggestions!  for those of you who have read my blog on multiple occasions, you probably know what I'm going to say.

My Suggestions for Books

1.  The Chronicles of Narnia - There is no going wrong with this book.  it's well written and is chalked full of allegories (not allergies), plus, it has great moral lessons!  the character arcs are fantastic!  i mean, this book is literally perfect.  you hate the villains and positively love the good guys/girls/animals/thingys that dont have a catagory (I'm looking at you, Puddleglum!) (Ages 7 and up)

2.  The Invention of Hugo Cabret - Just read it, and tell me you dont love how this book was worked out.  it has breath taking illustrations and the plot is fun, complex, and still easy to follow.  the way the story is carried out is very unique, and i really suggest you read it! (Ages 5 and up)

3.  The Hobbit - this one is a lot less intense than the books that come after, but it's still great in its' own right.  Bilbo is really lovable, and this book is fairly lighthearted.  there's still a dark edge with the One Ring, but where would the plot be without it?  You really love all the characters, and though it's nothing like the movies, it's even better! (Ages 11 and up)

4.  The Lord of the Rings - Okay...INTENSE INTENSE INTENSE.  ive read this one (yes, it's all one book, it wasnt supposed to be split up...PLOT TWIST) twice, now.  the book is so intense and good, and the struggle between right and wrong is so interesting to watch play out.  Frodo is stupid, but almost all the main (good) characters are complelty lovable!  I personally am partial to Samwise.  If you dont love him, maybe you should rethink a lot of things.  the villain is scary, but he isnt creepy.  yes, there is a difference.  scary is like...intense...but not something you'd have nightmares about.  creepy sticks with you forever, and it disturbes you.

I would suggest more, but I HAVE SOMETHING REALLY EXCITING TO TELL YOOOOOOOOUUUUU!!!!  I.  SAW.  THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD!  i thought Pietro was going to be a way bigger deal (thanks, Pinterest), and although *SPOILERS* i was sad when he died, i wasnt sobbing as much as i thought.  i loved how they brought more Hawkeye into the story...that was amazing! i was sad about Clintasha, but then i was really happy that Clint had a wife and a family and a very human aspect to him.  i did walk out of the theatre shipping Bruce and Natasha a bit.  everyones being hard on Tony, but he didnt do anything on purpose!  it was an accident, and Steve needs to CALM DOWN.  anyway, i could go on and on about this, but did you SEE THE AMOUNT OF THOR THEY PUT IN THERE?!?!?!?!?!?! Pepper was estatic because he didnt get much screen time in The Avengers.  i was happy they seemed to level out how much of each Avenger they put in there, and the Maximoff twins were great.  (IM STILL MAD AT THAT ONE KID WHO SHOULD HAVE JUST FOLLOWED HIS MUM TO THE HELICARRIER SO THAT HAWKEYE DIDNT ALMOST DIE AND PIETRO DID DIE!!!!)

anyway, not like im over excited or anything...i have to go.  Until next time!

A Lot of Media Suggestions...No, Seriously, Try These Things

Okay, so obviously this has all been grammar corrected by Pepper (thanks, by the way).  Anyway, I decided I would bless the world with my amazing opinion on almost everything in culture (screams in the distance).  Are you ready?  I'm ready!  We'll start with something easy, okay?
My Suggestions On Music

Before I write all my suggestions, I would like to let everyone know, I listen to primarily Christian music with a couple singles mixed in with artists I don't really listen to.  Okay, does everyone have that straight?  Alright, good!

1.  Josh Wilson - I just...yes.  Just listen to more than I Refuse and Before the Morning...it will be worth it, promise.

2.  Owl City - I really appreciate Owl City because he's catchy and happy, but he doesn't just do primarily fluffy lyrics.  One of my favorite songs by him is This Isn't the End...it's so thoughtful and brave.  Also, you really have to put a lot of brain work into understanding his songs, and some can't, but if you really try, I think you'll probably get what he's saying in even the most absurd sounding songs.

3.  Colton Dixon - Alright, this one's for all the Christian Rock lovers.  The lyrics are solid and the guitar is amazing.  Not to mention, awesome album artwork mixed with a hilarious goofball...it can't get much better.  And I dare you to get me a cooler sounding rock song than Back to Life.

4.  Britt Nicole - I'm not going to lie, it takes some practice trying to make out all of her lyrics, but primarily, it's all solid.  There are a couple songs like Holiday, Like a Star, or Sunshine Girl that don't necessarily have super loud Christian meanings, but they're definitely fun and completely clean songs.

5.  Adisson Road - Okay...they're depressing sometimes and have some confusing lyrics...but this girls' voice is just...amazing.  Seriously.  As usual, it's all clean and there are some catchy songs like My Story and Sticking With You.  Not to mention, some worship songs that are very thought out, such as What Do I Know Of Holy?

6.  Matthew West - This guys' lyrics are so thoughtful.  And awesome.  Not all of it's catchy, but it has good meaning, let me tell you.  Of course, he has a very distinct style of not seeming to stick to a certain tune, which is frankly amazing.  He has a lot of thought provoking songs like My Own Little World or One Less.

7.  for King and Country - I found myself pretty enthralled by their music.  It has a good style and great lyrics that have meaning.   To the Dreamers is one of my favorites...I can't stop listening to it!

8.  Hawk Nelson - Okay...I've really only listened to Made and a couple songs from Live Life Loud (other than assorted singles), but these guys are really talented.  Their lyrics pack a punch and are very well thought out.  The style is simply amazing...Elevator is my favorite song by them because it's super catchy.  Like, seriously catchy.

9.  Random Assorted Singles from Artists I Don't Listen To:  Okay, ready?  Here's the list:  I Hope You Dance - Lee Ann Womack.  I Lived - OneRepublic.  Best Day Of My Life - American Authors (ugh...I'm so cliché!).  Home - Phillip Phillips.  Steal My Show - TobyMac.  Hurricane - Natalie Grant.

10.  Vivaldi - I hate classical music.  But I like this guy a lot.  So...he's worth a shot, I think.

11. Sky Sailing - Yeah, so this is another Adam Young project and it only has one album.  That doesn't matter, though!  An Airplane Carried Me to Bed is a great album, and I love literally all the songs on it.  He mentions Audrey Hepburn, the Misty Mountains, and opera...so it's definitely worth a listen, believe me!

My Suggestions On TV Shows

I really don't watch TV Shows other than a few, and most of the ones I watch are old or from the BBC.  I'm going to put suggested ages, just to let you know.  Have fun with my amazing list!

1.  Doctor Who (2005-) - Yeah...this is my favorite show ever, and I think I could write an entire book about it.  The Doctor is amazing (Ten is my favorite).  You really feel for the characters.  The brilliant thing about Doctor Who is that even some of the villains are literally just misunderstood.  I mean, I can't be the only one who felt sorry for the Master, right?  Anyway, there are very intriguing stories that don't seem to insult your intelligence (Disney Channel, I'm looking at you).  There are morals that are very strong, and one of my favorite things about Doctor Who is that it makes you think about what you just watched.  I mean, Midnight is one of the saddest episodes, but it's one of my favorites because it made me look and the world around me and think.  The same goes for Vincent and the Doctor...I mean, if you've seen this episode and you say that you weren't moved and/or crying, you're lying.  Oh...and two words...Rory Williams.   That being said, I don't get scared by things in movies or TV shows, but I've been told that Doctor Who can be very creepy.  Some episodes such as The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances seems very scary and dark to a lot of people (Master and Mistress especially), although no one actually gets hurt.  In addition, some episodes seem very dark such as Night Terrors, which involves a child being terrified of the dollhouse that lurks in his closet.  However, I have to add, Night Terrors has a beautiful message and the reasoning behind the whole episode is lovely.  The only episode that really bothered me was The God Complex and that was because it was just kind of stupid.  I may add one more thing, Love and Monsters was terrible. (Ages 12 and up)

2.  Classic Doctor Who - The brilliant thing is, I'm still talking about the same Doctor that was in the previous paragraph.  I find all the younger Doctor's very intriguing and innocent.  And can I just say one thing about the companions?  Sarah Jane Smith and Leela...you are truly awesome.  Especially you, Leela!  I love Sarah Jane because she went through so many Doctor's, and she loved them all.  (Ages 11 and up)

3. Leave It To Beaver - The first time I saw this, I hated it.  Now I can't stop watching it!  Beaver is positively adorable!  Mrs. Cleaver is...a bit annoying...but, her two children are awesome.  Wally is a great big brother and the way he looks out for Beaver (most of the time) is really cool.  (Ages 5 and up)

4.  Touched By an Angel - Not gonna lie, this show is intense!  It's sometimes hard to watch.  It has a lot of mature and painful situations.  But it's so amazing.  It makes you think and it recognizes that God is God!  I love how the angels act (believe it or not, Andrew is my favorite...so sassy,..), I feel like the situations that they are put in would be hard for real life angels, but they still do their job well. (For Pepper, she watched it when she was seven, but she also watched M.A.S.H. and a lot of other weird stuff, so I'm going to say ages 13 and up)

5.  Sherlock - Wow.  I could write an entire book about the pros and cons of Sherlock.  Being someone who loves the books and movies (not to mention the Basil Rathbone version!), I really do enjoy Sherlock.  However, some of the awesomeness is a bit drowned out by some swearing (honestly, John! Eat a soap bar!), some bad jokes, and honestly, Irene Adler.  Scandal in Belgravia was annoying and disappointing.  The rest of the episodes are great, though!  Sherlock and John are fairly accurate and in character when compared to the book, and Lestrade...I cannot stress my love for Lestrade enough. The scene in season three with Sherlock walking out of the wedding is very realistic and relate able, and it shows that Sherlock is, in fact, human.    (Ages 13 and up)

6.  Star Trek - Oh, my classic, cheesy, awesome, imaginative, American, TV show.  Honestly, if they just had a show about Spock, Bones, and Chekhov, I'd watch it.  The characters are lovable and familiar even if you don't watch the show.  The plot lines and special effects are cheesy, but that's part of the charm of it!  Almost all the characters are lovable, and frankly, my only big problem is the fact that none of the girls seem to wear very good costumes.  (Ages 9 and up)

7.  The Cosby Show - I love Rudy and Cliff Huxtable.  That is all...okay, I just want to say, the family in this show are awesome and fairly realistic and not too cliché, which is refreshing.  Sometimes, it's really easy to get furious at some of the characters, but honestly, we have all been in their places.  (Ages 5 and up)

My Suggestions On Movies

Get ready for a really long list, folks!  I'll be suggesting ages on this one, too.

1.  Hugo - Hugo is a fabulous and beautiful movie.  I love Hugo and Isabelle, and while it isn't exactly like the book, it's still a great movie.  It's historical (I think) and frankly one of the best movies I've ever seen.  The only thing I'd really change is the fact that Hugo and Isabelle aren't romantically interested in each other.  They're more like siblings.  You really felt sad for Hugo, and you wanted him to find a family, and basically this movie was a giant bucket of feels. (Ages 9 and up)

2. Thor - This movie is probably the safest of the Marvel franchise.  It's not very creepy or scary or inappropriate.  The villain is Loki, so your teenage daughters will probably be obsessed with Mr. Hiddleston within a month.  The story is very good and the character development is fantastic. (Ages 11 and up)

3.  The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Okay, not gonna lie, these movies used to absolutely terrify me.  However, I didn't understand the story, nor did I understand why the One Ring was even important.  Once you can fully grasp the story, it because an amazing and epic (literally) tale of friendship and perseverance with tons of positive messages and lovable characters.  Except Frodo...I really don't like him.  (Ages 13 and up)

4.  The Decoy Bride - Yup, I watched this because of David Tennant.  I'm not even going to attempt to cover that up.  The story isn't very realistic, and I think it maybe deserved a PG-13 for some of the humour (instead, it got PG).  However, there are positive messages to this film.  The most potent one is, in my opinion, that money and fame doesn't really lead to happiness.  Another lesson was that even though someone might seem perfect, it doesn't mean that they're the one for you (sorry, Hiddlestoners).  Yet another lesson that can be learned from this movie is that you can't make snap judgments about people, ever!  They are way more interesting and fun and special than they probably look.  Oh...the last message this movie had was that when writing a book, don't get all of your information off of Google.  (Ages 13 and up)

5.  Tangled - Of all of the Disney movies that have come out recently, Tangled has been my favorite.  Flynn Rider (or Eugene Fitzherbert) is fairly realistic, but he also has great character development.  He goes from a swashbuckling thief to a man who's willing to sacrifice his life for someone he barely knows.  He protects Rapunzel as much as he can, and it's very touching.  Also, Rapunzel is a great character.  She is also fairly realistic as far as personality goes (no one can keep their hair all neat like that!).  She's innocent but smart, and the whole movie is really fun.  (Ages 8 and up)

6.  Driving Miss Daisy - I'm not a huge of fan of feely movies, but this one really hit home.  You go from hating the first forty minutes of the movie to positively loving the rest-especially the ending!  This movie has a ton of positive messages against racism and the fact that anyone can be friends.  (Ages 11 and up)

7.  Wreck-It Ralph - Okay, so it has Owl City on it.  That in itself should make you want to watch it.  Anyway, the characters in this film are lovable (I have a theory about King Candy that I'll probably write later).  The movie's main message is that anyone can be a hero and that thinking outside the box is okay.  Throwing in some fun gaming characters such as Q*Bert and Pac-Man is basically just icing on the cake.

8.  The Avengers - Alright...be careful with this one, guys.  This movie has a lot of violence.  This movie has some bad humour and swearing.  On the other hand, it has loads of good messages.  The most potent ones are teamwork, and that good always wins.  Not everyone is always right and not everyone is always wrong.  There has to be leaders, but it doesn't mean that we should all be mindless sheep. (Ages 12 and up)

9.  The Lego Movie - When I hear "The Lego Movie" I think "Hahaha!" Okay, so if you've already seen this movie, you understood my reference.  This movie focuses on the fact that anyone can make a difference and that you shouldn't just follow the crowd because the crowd is probably wrong.  (Ages 7 and up)

10.  Penguins of Madagascar - Not gonna lie, I watched this movie because of Benedict Cumberbatch.  Yup...I ain't even mad.  Anyway, it was surprisingly good!  It was funny and entertaining.  The pen-wings were very cute and their teamwork was nice.  The humour was a bit icky, but nothing that bad.  If anything, the ending was a bit cliché, but you really like the characters and I couldn't stop laughing for the first twenty minutes of the movie.  (Ages 6 and up)

11.  Annie (2014) - The first Annie was terrifying and nightmare inducing, okay?  However, the 2014 version was awesome.  The character development of Miss Hannigan was very well done.  Annie was adorable and she could actually sing (unlike the original).  This was a lovely, fun, fast paced movie.  The songs were catchy and not obnoxious (coming from someone who hates musicals, this is pretty good).

12.  Wall-E - This one's a classic, in my opinion.  It is very clever for a movie with not a ton of lines.  Wall-E is really cute, and EVE is very funny.  The main message of this film (in my opinion) is that machines shouldn't be in control, and once again, following the rules isn't always the right thing to do.  Nothing can compete with human intellect and instinct.  Also, it stated that we should take care of the earth.  Not in a SAVE THE TREES AND THAT'S ALL YOU SHOULD DO WITH YOUR LIFE way, but more in a please recycle and try to keep the planet looking nice...it really isn't that hard, I promise.  (Ages 8 and up)

13.  Mirror Mirror - Okay, I was basically laughing and grinning like a weirdo through this whole movie...like, my face hurt!  It's inventive and not cliché at all!  Snow White is a very nice and likeable character.  The prince is a bit of obnoxious, but you end up loving him.  The dwarves (who are the best part) are willing to sacrifice a lot for Snow.  They are all lovable (my favorite is Butcher), and they make the story develop well.   The Queen is certainly annoying enough, and her character is very intriguing, I especially loved how the King wasn't actually dead.  It was nice seeing Boromir-er, the King come back to life.  It's a bit violent, but not unnecessarily so.   (Ages 11 and up)

14.  Toy Story 3 - Possibly the best of the three movies made, this movie is sure to tug at your heart strings.  The story is very heartfelt, and the fact that Andy grows up is bittersweet.  There's a happy ending, for sure, but it still makes everyone that I've spoken to kind of think back to when they were that long.  (Ages 5 and up...please note, you might not understand the plot until you're at least 9)

15.  Captain America:  The Winter Soldier - I'd say this is the second most family friendly Marvel film.  It's probably more violent than Thor and possibly The Avengers, but it's focus on freedom and leadership with teamwork is great.  Bucky was my favorite character...yeah...he was my favorite in Captain America:  The First Avenger, as well.  You really feel for him, but how he saves Steve near the end is touching.  (Ages 12 and up)

16.  Pride and Prejudice (2005) - It's not exactly like the book, it moves faster.  The thing is, it's very well executed.  Mr. Darcy is amazing and his character is lovable.  Pepper especially loves him, and feels for his awkwardness.  Lizzie is a bit toned down from the book, but I'm grateful for that.  To be honest, I didn't like her in the book.  She was too harsh and mean!  (Ages 11 and up because that's when you can probably understand the plot)

17.  Sherlock Holmes:  A Game of Shadows - This one is one of those rare cases where the sequel was better than the first.  This isn't like the books at all, except the characters are similar.  That being said, I enjoy this movie immensely!  I'm gonna warn you, it can be violent and there's a scene with a bit of fish hook stabbing.  On the other hand, Mary (ugh, I love Mary soooooooooooo much) is a great character who is patient and smart.  John does a great job of looking out for Sherlock and protecting him.  In addition, Sherlock is as clever as always.  His character's quite lovable, and he's portrayed well by the fabulous Robert Downey, Jr.  Quick note, Madam Simza is also really cool and great...okay...that's it.  (Ages 12 and up)

18.  Rise of the Guardians - This movie was really popular for a while, right?  Well, I can see why.  It was interesting and my only problem with it is that it needed more character development.  This movie's big theme was that light always conquers the darkness.  Good will always win, and that's how it should be.  If you combine that with a very sassy Jack Frost and a Father Christmas with ninja swords...well...that's just icing on the cake!  (Ages 10 and up)

19.  Big Hero 6 - How did I only just now think of this?!  This movie was great!  It was fast paced and fun!  It talked about how revenge isn't the answer about anything.  You won't gain anything by taking your anger out on someone.  This was a very interesting point, and as sad as the death of Tadashi was, he was a great big brother.  Hiro learned to use his talents for the good of other people, and Baymax was adorable. (Ages 8 and up)

20.  The Hobbit:  An Unexpected Journey - You can choose to watch the other two, too.  The first one was my favorite because it had the most Bilbo in it.  He was a central character, and definitely had a couple lessons in bravery.  The movies weren't like the book at all, but that's not to say they weren't good.  On the contrary, I enjoyed them immensely!  They're nice fantasy and adventure stories that teach patience and teamwork.  It also teaches that it's okay to be scared, just so long as you don't let that control you.  As expected, there's some "scary" monsters and people who are scared of spiders may cringe a bit, but it's not that bad, at all.  Smaug is very well done and fairly close to the book, as is the scene with Smeagol, but that's about as close as your going to get.  That being said, all the dwarves play important characters and Bilbo is very fun and sassy!  (Ages 13 and up)

My Suggestions On YouTube

Okay guys, to be honest, I'm scared of YouTube.  I'd love to give you suggestions, but honestly, my experience with YouTubers is a bit scary.  They seem to be drama llamas, if you know what I mean.  Anyway, the only channel that I can really recommend is Blimeycow, but honestly, that's if you want a lot of relationship advice.

So, I'll probably make a part two, but until next time!

Mobile Orchestra and Farmer's Markets

hiiiiiiiiiii, everyone!  yeah, so its probbaly obvious that this time around, iim not using Pepper's iPod.  I'm thinking about getting her to proofread my stuff from now on.  what do you think?  anyway, i hope all is well with whoever you are that's reading this.  so, today i am going to fangirl really quick (dont i always?).  Mobile Orchestra is on pre-order....WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW ICANTWAIT ASDFGHJKL!!!!!!!!  also, can i just say, Verge was amazing. it kind of sounded like a mix between Shooting Star and Wolf Bite, but it still sounded owlsome, if you know what i mean.  I'm really happy Owl City...well, Adam, is releasing another album.  it should be amazingp and you know, hearing new songs, well, I've really missed this.

Anyway, for all you humans or animals that arent Hoot Owls (seriously, listen to Owl City), I'm going to tell you about farmers markets. that's right.  farmers markets.  now, being a cat, i dont really like eating fruit or vegetables.  so, you'd think farmers markets would be boring, right?  PLOT TWIST!  Yeah, you were right.  anwyay, very rarely and ever soo often, i'll come across a farmers market that has live animals.  this could either go really well or really badly.  let me give you an example, last year, Pepper and Jon decided that they wanted to go to this super obscure farmers market/farm/torture chamber-thing.  let me tell you why it was part torture chamber.  there were dogs.  note, i say dogs in plural form, so you're probably thinking lik,e two.  noo no no.  there was like, eight!  i'm not exaggerating!  EIGHT!  WHY WOULD YOU WANT EIGHT DOGS?!  anyway, none of them were on leashes except for the chihuahua looking thing.   the rest of the dogs were huge!!!  German Shepherds (wow, i spelled that correctly.  a million points for Soul!), Pit Bulls, Huskies, general terrifying cat eating monsters that looked like they wanted to eat me in one bite.  but, you know, one chase, an apple stand, a screaming three year old, muddy paws, and plenty of yeowling later, Pepper decided to put me back in the car.  thank goodness.

Now, let me be a bit more positive, kay?  on the other hand, some farmers markets have chickens! and rabbits!  and other small, delicious animals that i can dream about eating!  of course, usually all i get is a bit of bacon when we go home or some jerky in the car, but it's still fun to drool over, you know?  not to mention, the crazy looks we get from their owners.  that's a truly hilarious experience!

anyway, seeing as Summer's coming back (whee), i decided id give all my fellow cats a fair warning about farmers markets if they havent been to one yet.  until next time!

Graduations

Šóöōó...as you can guess, I'm typing this on Pepper's iPod. Yup...it's not exactly agreeing with my paws. On the plus side, spellcheck! On the other hand, a negative side effect it spellcheck (shudder). Anyway, how's everybody doin'? Josh Wilson released a new single, and HOW AM I THE ONLY ONE BASICALLY SCREAMING ABOUT THIS?!?!?! ITS SO EXCITING!!!!! Anyway, it's great sounding and I've listened to it basically non-stop. Seriously, the best day of my life...uh...if you know what I mean. Anywha, with peeps graduating and such soon (ugh, boring!) I thought I should tell you, Master's finished his...uh...Masters Degree!!!! I'm so proud of him! I just...I can't even. Anyway graduations are quite the experience, aren't they? Am I the only one who hates them? Like, if it's a small class, it's all cute and fun, but a public school or large college? Noooooo. I am practically falling asleep by the end of the ceremony! Like, I don't know any of you people...so...? And then they have a billion speeches and slideshows and songs and ugh. And then they throw their caps in the air and the sharp corners hit some little kid and...just not a great experience, you know? But yeah, I don't think we'lol have to attend very many this year. Does anyone have any plans for the summer? I assume you all have at least something going on, even if it's staying inside for three months (like me). I better give Pepper give her back her iPod. Apparently looking at pictures of the Tenth Doctor, Owl City lyrics, and Age of Ultron pictures are more important than this post. Until next time

Why 2015 is Going to be the Most Amazing Year Ever and Carol Burnett

wellllll...I REMEMBRED TO ACTUALLY WRITE SOMETHING!  *applauds myself*  how's everyone doing?  if you're doing good, YAY!!!!  if you're not, I'm sorry.  I will now send you a cyber hug!

Sooooooooo...i was going to write about deep political issues or something, but i didnt because im soooo changeable.  maybe i should stop using so many o's in my so's...hey, that was funny! O's in my so's...hehehe!  anyway, im super duper excited because this is gonna be a great year!  i mean, we are already four months in...no matter!  it can only head up from here!  for instance, i hear that there's going to be a Sherlock Christmas special..which...i...am...screaming...internally...over...and there's a new Owl City album coming out (YESSSSSS).  and there's a new Josh Wilson album coming out (DOUBLE YESSSSSS) and there's more Doctor Who episodes to look forward to (YAY!)...and there's also The Avengers: Age of Ultron which is coming out soon.  and if i could express my feelings in one word, it ould be this:  "ASDFGHJKL!!!!!!!!!!!"  now that you know how i feel, let's move on the the blushingly (is that a word?) enteratining life of yours truly.

Do you humans realize how annoying clouds are?  like, you cats get me, right?  No?  okay, well let me explain.  i was laying in our frontroom in this absolutley gorgeous sun beam.  it felt amazing!  it was all warm and i was twirling around and having a good ol' time when what should appear but a CLOUD?!  whyyyyyyyy?  i mean, clouds block the sun.  by definition it blocks my sunbeam.  by definition that means it blocked my good time.  by definition that means i stopped having a good time.  Conclusion: I hate clouds.  seriously, why can't they just show up at night?!  whatever.  not like i can do anything about it.

Have you ever gone on Netflix like, "Okay, so you're my current best friend.  Entertain me!  Make me smile!" and all you can find is dumb movies and pitiful TV shows (i.e. Agents of SHIELD...so dissapointing)?  because apparently, no one else is okay with watching strictly Doctor Who and Sherlock and Marvel movies and that's it.  apparently, im the only one who would happily do this...oh well...it's a hard knock life (see what i did there)?

Actually, now that i've gotten on the subject of Annie, I just wanted to inflict...er...grace you with my opinion.  i LOVE the newer one, but the old one was scary and gave me nightmares.  seriously.  I can't handle Carol Burnett anymore (so sorry) because the only roles ive ever seen her in was as the villain in the worst movie in the universe, The Secret World of Arriety, and the villain in Annie.  needless to say, im terrified of Carol Burnett (once again, so sorry).

Anwywa, (wow that was spelled hideously) this post turned out a lot longer than i meant it to, and Pepper wants the computer.  Until next time!

Pi and Ender's Game

Hi everyone!  ugh, i waited forever to post again!  i keep forgetting...and that's a grabage excuse...sorry.  anyway, I just finished reading Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card and i only have one thing to say for it: "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"  okay, dont get me wrong, i loved it.  and i have way more than one thing to say about it.  I just want to let you all know, I havent seen the movie (SHOCKER!), but the book was amazing and sad and well-written and i just...ASDFGHJKL!  i found Ender was a very interesting character and i also found that if you listen to Maybe I'm Dreaming by Owl City while reading the book, it makes the atmosphere a bazillion times better!  like...i have no idea how...but it works.  seriously.

ANYWAY, my month has been...interesting.  does anyone else make pie for pi day?  we do...or at least, we attempt to.  you see, Spirit may or may not have knocked down our fifteen pound bag of sugar while trying to get into the food bag.  okay, she totally did and it was frustrating!  Master had to go and get a bunch more sugar and the pies were a bit weird tasting because we didnt get the same sugar as we usually do.  Sigh...thanks Spirit.

other than that though, I saw The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies.  it.  was.  hard.  to.  watch.  I JUST WANTED TO WRAP FILI, KILI, and THORIN IN A HUG!  and Tauriel...i just...no.  im not gonna open that box.  let's just say i dont like her.It wasnt anything like th book, but it was still pretty good.  the first The Hobbit movie was the best, but the other were pretty good, too.

I have to go because somebodies being a drama llama, but i promise ill try to write soon!

Until next time!

SO SO SO SO SORRY!

So...for the first time in what feels like forever, I've decided to write in this blog.  I am truly sorry for neglecting this...in all honesty, i have literally no excuse.  If you've all been wondering what I've been up to these past three months (sorry, again...) I've been doing fun stuff.  Well, obviously I've been doing fun stuff, but I suppose you want to know exactly what that  fun stuff is.  Well, first of all, we went to this amazing outdoor church even thing and it was totally awesome (if not a little bit cold).  There was this guy and he had an amazing singing voice and there was corn dogs.  Really...that was the best part...the corn dogs.  Anyway, it was a lot of fun.  Along with attending little church events and parties, we've also been trying...or continuing to try new things.  You see, I've come to the firm conclusion that the BBC has all the best shows.  First of all, can I just say that I'm offended for Jesus by that one show, The Bible?  Like, that's not very accurate, no offense.  I think that the story of Jesus is  epic enough without you changing it tank ou bery buch!  I mean, Jesus is going around healing people and preaching and playing with kids and being generally awesome, but then we have crazy people that make it into a TV show or movie and they change the story and it becomes sad and depressing and totally not truthful.  Anyway, back to what I was saying, BBC has way better TV Shows than the rest of the UNIVERSE!  I mean, it has awesome shows like Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Paradise, and more  whereas what we have is like...boring.  We have Disney Channel and soap operas...oh, and let's not forget the History channel that TALKS ABOUT THE FUTURE!

Can I just let you all know that Doctor Who is literally the best show in the entire UNIVERSE?!  Like, we're at Season Six of the 2005 series and IT'S ACTUALLY AMAZING AND HOW DID I MISS IT FOR ALL THESE YEARS AND WHY IS THE CAPS LOCK ON?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?  One little quick note, Rose is amazing and I don't see how people don't like her and her relationship with the Doctor is simply ASDFGHJKL!

I've also been listening to Colton Dixon who is AMAZINGSAUCE!  You should seriously listen to him.  He has solid lyrics and a great sound and a fantastic voice!

Anyway, not that I'm ever over-passionate about anything, but we have boring entertainment.  Something that I've also discovered in my time away is teen books.  Okay, so Pepper wanted to read some of these books that were so good that they were made into movies, BUT SHE CAN'T!  You know why she can't?  Because teen books are PSYCHOTIC!  Okay...so we have The Fault In Our Stars which looks like the cutest, saddest, and most wonderful story EVER!  Pepper wanted to read it, and she doesn't even like romances...but can we pleeeeeeze talk about the language?  Like...seriously.  J.R.R. Tolkien is one of the greatest authors alive (I'm not the only one who thinks so) and he didn't need swearing or "adult content" to make a great story.  He made a great story with a great plot...that's it!  Would you look at that?  He didn't need bad elements to make it sell!  Huh...I wonder how that happened *stares sarcastically*.

Anyway, as you can tell, I've missed writing the blog and I really felt like I needed to get all of my opinions out at once, since I'm sure you all want to hear them and I am obviously doing you all a favor...I think.  Nah, I'm sure you all want to hear it...right?  I have to go but I'm going to try to update this more often.

(Special thanks to Pepper who made sure the grammar on this post was pretty good!)

Until next time!

Seventeen Days!

SEVENTEEN DAYS!  so so sorry i havent updated in forever!  i just really didnt have anything to report, you know?  been looking at Pepper's pinterest account, been watching Touched By An Angel...RIGHT!  now i have something to write about!  Here goes!

So, we used to have cable (we dont anymore) and Pepper, Jon, Mistress, and us cats would really only watch three shows.  No, not Disney Channel.  no, not Cartoon Network.  we watched Arthur (which truly was a fabulous show...just saying!), M*A*S*H* (dont ask why...we just did), and of course Touched By An Angel.  yeah...not a lot of little kid shows, you know?  anyway, wall we were watching Touched By An Angel i was smacked in the face by WAVES of nostalgia!  sooooooo many memories of staying up at like eleven to watch it...or marathons of it until five AM!  yes, we did that!  it was just so neat because i remembered little details like Monica has an accent and Tess isnt neccesarily the lead angel and Andrew-every episode he's in someone doesnt die like i thought!  it was just so cool, like meeting old friends once more!  i really recommend this show...so good!  and Arthur...I still know the song and i havent seen it in probably six years!  anyway, i have to go, but seriously, going back and watching shows you used to watch all the time is so much fun!  until next time!

Happy New Year's and Star Trek

Hi, everyone!  You all may be wondering why my grammar and spelling looks really good, right?  Well, I had Pepper proof-read my post today (that took a really long time!).  Anyway, how was everyone's New Years Eve?  Pretty good, I hope!  Ours was fun for most of the night.  We had very unhealthy food, we played intense games of Monopoly, we watched three episodes of Star Trek along with both of the movies...I recognized MICKEY FROM DOCTOR WHO IN THE SECOND ONE!!! *screams for an hour*  I also recognized a bunch of other actors, including but not limited to:

1.  Winona Ryder (I saw her in Little Women)
2.  Chris Pine (Princess Diaries Two and Rise of the Guardians)
3.  That guy who plays the leader of the Ten Rings in Iron Man (I don't know his name)
4.  Benedict Cumberbatch (I've only heard him in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug)
5.  Noel...guy who plays Mickey from Doctor Who (I only know his first name)
6.  Zoe Saldana (Pirates of the Caribbean)

There were other ones, but I forgot them.  These were the ones that really stuck out to me.  Anyway, our celebration of the New Year went pretty well.  We played games, watched all manner of Star Trek things, had epic snacks, slept on the couch, and hiding with my sister in terror because the fireworks are SCARY!  Yeah...I don't really want to talk about it...I will have you know that I spilled five glasses of water on the carpet, this was not my proudest moment.  I hear Jon calling me...until next time!

(I made the mistake of writing Stark Trek while doing this post.  I made this mistake multiple times.  Am I the only one who does this?)
